Undergraduate Programs

Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing undergraduate program prepare men and women for the practice of professional nursing.  The program, leading to baccalaureate degree in nursing, builds upon and incorporates the natural and social sciences and the liberal arts.  This broad foundation provides the understanding of humankind and society necessary for the learner to begin the implementation of the nursing process.  The College encourages scholarly activities that contribute to learning, nursing and health care.  Upon graduation, nursing students become prepared, competent nursing professionals who respond to the changing health needs of society and the health care system.  

Accelerated Option for RN Students

Graduates of state-approved diploma or associate degree nursing programs may receive 31 semester hours of credit in the nursing major without examination upon satisfactory completion of specified courses.  Registered nurses, five years or more after graduation for state-approved program may receive credit without examination based on individual assessment.  Read more about the RN to BSN Accelerated Pathway
