The DNP-Clinical option is a post masters doctorate degree, a practiced-focused program designed to prepare advanced practiced nurses at the highest level of nursing practice. The DNP is a terminal degree. This post masters doctorate consists of a 39 credit hour doctoral program for those individuals who are masters prepared and nationally certified and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). The program provides academic preparation to acquire advanced knowledge in biostatistics, cultural competency, epidemiology and advancements in healthcare and education.
